Ricky Lynn Laseter, a resident of Taylor, Alabama died Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 71.


Graveside Services will be held at 10AM, Monday, September 2, 2024 in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Reverend James Register officiating and Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing.


Ricky was born August 6, 1953, at Moody Hospital in Dothan, Alabama to the late Lynn and Imogene Jordan Laseter. After graduating high school, he began a career at Colonial Bakery retiring due to their shut down after thirty-four years. Ricky took on a second career with the Dothan City School System in their Custodial Department and retired from there after thirteen years. His hobbies included carpentry, woodworks, fishing, and watching western movies. His family always came first and spending precious time and making lasting memories with them was his ultimate joy. Ricky was a loving husband, father, and brother.


He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kerry Laseter.


Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Dianne Sauls Laseter; a son, Charles Laseter; a daughter, Evelyn Laseter; a brother, Terry Laseter; three sisters, Davia Ray, Martha Campbell, and Debbie Vann (Ronald); along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
