   Mr. Robert Allen Brownfield, Jr., a resident of Ozark, Alabama, died Friday, May 3, 2024. He was 61 years old.


   In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.


   Mr. Brownfield was born March 11, 1963 in Sacramento, California to the late Robert Allen Brownfield, Sr. and Billie Ann Davis Brownfield. His family moved to Ozark where he was a 1981 graduate of Carroll High School. He worked with Tri-Glass in Daleville as a chopper. Later he attended Alabama Aviation and Technical College where he graduated from the Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Program. He then worked with U. S. Helicopter in Ozark and later with Dyn Corp at Fort Rucker. Robbie worked with M1 and retired following twenty-two years of service. He was an avid hot-rod enthusiast, loved fishing and was an Alabama fan.


   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Brownfield Felder. Mr. Brownfield is survived by one daughter, Amanda Simmons (Jake) of the Bertha Community of Dale County; one son, Tyler Brownfield (Cheyenne) of Ozark; three grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Cindy Lapp Brownfield.
