MELBOURNE, FL…Mr. Robert E. “Bobby” Johnson, a resident of Melbourne, FL (formerly of Skipperville), died on Monday, March 21, 2022, following a brief illness. He was 70.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, in the Salem Baptist Church, near Skipperville, with Reverend Harold Peters and his son-in-law, Reverend Jason Waddell officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of local arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
Mr. Johnson, son of the late Homer and Elizabeth Johnson was a native of Ozark and lived most of his life in the Skipperville area before moving to Florida. He loved his Lord Jesus Christ, hunting, fishing, and celebrating life and most of all his family. Mr. Johnson spent the last seven years of his life helping care for his beloved granddaughter, Rowyn and fishing as often as he could with a special friend, Captain Bob. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Johnson of Ozark and Ted Johnson of Dothan.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Marjorie Johnson, Melbourne, FL; a daughter, Meredith Waddell (Jason); beloved grandsons, Cole and Landon Waddell of Louisville; stepdaughter, Beth Myers (David); special granddaughter, Rowyn Myers, Satellite Beach, FL; a brother, Glenn Johnson (Bonnie), Ozark; his aunt, Syble Wright, Ozark; numerous nieces and nephews
