Mr. Robert T. Munn, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday, May 16, 2021, at his home.  He was 86 years old.


Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 21, 2021, from the Ozark First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brian Presley, Pastor Adam Carlee and Reverend Michael Woodham officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery with Masonic Rites, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends in the church Friday from 9:30 A.M. until service time.


Mr. Munn was born June 17, 1934 in Dale County, Alabama to the late T. R. Munn and Louise Bludsworth Munn. He served in the United States Air Force for four years. Following his military service, he worked with the Dale County Sheriff Office for twenty-four years and for forty years with various aircraft maintenance contractors at Fort Rucker as an aircraft mechanic on the CH47 Chinook, retiring in 2002.  Mr. Munn was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason with the Clinton Lodge.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mae Opal Rogers Munn; one daughter, Millie Renee Mills; two sisters, Merle Fisher (Don) and Helen Michalic; sister-in-law, Linda Munn; and brother-in-law, Dewayne Burke.


Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Munn (Vicki) of Ozark, Joseph Keith Munn (Paula) of Ozark; one daughter, Donna Sexton (Tim) of Ozark; special caregiver, Cathy McGowan of  Ozark; one sister, Frances Burke of Ozark; three brothers, John Edward Munn of Ozark, Willie Ralph Munn (Brenda) of Aalbany, Georgia and T. R. Munn, Jr. (Pat) of Ozark.   Fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
