Rodney Capps, 67, of Cottonwood, Alabama, died early Wednesday morning in the Campbellton-Graceville Hospital.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Emerald Coast 1330 S. Boulevard Chipley, Florida 32428-1846, or at gentivahospicefoundation.org.
Mr. Capps farmed for more than twenty-five years. He worked for fifteen years as a driver for Alabama Motor Express, Inc. prior to his retirement.
Survivors include is wife of forty-three years, Peggie Edwards Capps, Cottonwood, Alabama; his daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Jim Dixon, Barwick, Georgia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Glenda Edwards, Ashford, Alabama; two nephews and their wives, Brian and Rachel Edwards, Ashford, Alabama, and Michael and Shannon Edwards, Dothan, Alabama; and three great nieces.
He will be missed by all.
