   Mr. Roland Michael Biron, a resident of Daleville, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at his home. He was 75 years old.


   A memorial service for Mr. Biron will be held 2:00 P. M. Sunday, June 2, 2024, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Charles Goldsmith officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Military Honors will be presented at the funeral home following the memorial service.


   Mr. Biron was born August 20, 1948 in Laconia, New Hampshire to the late Roland Biron and Edna Brunt Biron. Following graduation from high school in 1966, Michael served in the United States Army which included one tour in Vietnam where he was awarded the Purple Heart. Following his military service, Michael worked with Civil Service as an Air Traffic Controller for thirty-four years until his retirement. He was an avid golfer who loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, classic cars, Alabama football and Patriots football. Michael adored his children and grandchildren.


   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle Kathleen Morris Biron and one sister, Roberta DeHaven.


   He is survived by his fiancé, Donna Main of Daleville; three daughters, Kimberly Kroger (Dwane) of Ozark, Kristen Vegh of Augusta and Michelle Biron of Enterprise; one son, Michael Paul Biron of North Carolina; one sister, Judith Tuscher of Milton, Vermont; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.


   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the V.F.W. 2615 County Road 537, Enterprise, Alabama 36330; or to the D.A.V., 704 Crawford Avenue, Enterprise, Alabama 36330.
