Mr. Ronald Paul “Ronny” Sanders, a resident of Ozark, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, of a heart attack. He was 69 years old.
A celebration of life will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday January 7, 2023, at the home of Eudora Carroll. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at her home.
Mr. Sanders was born February 11, 1953, in Ozark, Alabama. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1971 and attended Troy State University in Dothan. He owned and operated Ronny Sanders Trucking, S & S Auto transport and most recently was working at Billy Lawrence GMC in Abbeville. Ronny was a member of Chalkhead Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his sons, hunting, watching Auburn football, grilling for his friends and family, and making everyone laugh.
He was preceded in death by his father; Bennie Paul Sanders, Stepfather; Don Carroll, Sister; Carolyn Sanders, Aunts; Jean Cutchen, Frances Cutchen, Uncles; Paul Cutchen, and William Cutchen.
Survivors include his mother; Eudora Carroll, two sons; Trent Sanders, and Alec (Sage) Sanders both of Ozark, their mothers; Cindy Lokay and Melanie Skelton, two grandchildren, Kylie, and Karlie Sanders. Two uncles; Tommy (Ann) Cutchen, and Noel Cutchen. Nieces, and nephews; Hazan (Deidre) Monk, MaLana (Robert) Carlee, Stamler (Mitchi) Monk, Kliss (Dale) Monk, Sloan (Ashley) Monk, and Chala Monk.
