OZARK… Mr. Ronnie Thomas Starling, a resident of Ozark, died early Wednesday morning, March 2, 2022. He was 66.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Sasser officiating. Burial will follow in Starling Cemetery in Troy. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Starling, son of the late Frank Starling and Esta Mae Odom Starling, was a native of Greenwood, Alabama near Troy. He moved to Ozark in 1986 and was formerly employed as an over the road truck driver. Mr. Starling enjoyed NASCAR, drag racing cars and bird watching. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Sallie Thompson, Sue Whitehead, and Darlis Boles; three brothers, James Carroll Starling, Tommie Ray Starling, and Raymond Starling.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Patsy Ping Starling, Ozark; stepson, Johnny W. Brown (Billie Ann), Davenport, FL; two brothers, Donnie Starling and Greg Starling, both of Ozark; two step grandchildren, T.J. Brown and Cody Brown; two step-greatgrandchildren, Rylan Brown and Asher Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Harmon Starling, William Starling, Justin Starling, Toby Starling, Cody Stratton, and Aaron Stratton.
