Scott Arnold Lydick, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died unexpectedly Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Flowers Hospital. He was 52.


A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.


Born to the late Donald and Irene Vincent Lydick on October 13, 1969. Scott was a hard worker before he became disabled and continued that same work ethic after his disability. He would give anyone the shirt off his back.  Scott never met a stranger, always looking to strike up a good conversation with anyone who would listen. His hobbies included tinkering with cars and cooking. He always cherished spending precious time with his family and friends. Scott was a loving son, father, brother, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.


He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jackie Gilford.


Left to cherish his memories is a daughter, Tina Hagemore (Brody); a son, Chris Lydick; one brother, Steven Lydick (Janice); two sisters, Wendy Wiggins (David) and Cheryl Burke (Eddie); three grandchildren, Kaleb Kimbril, Bryson Kimbril, and Kaitlyn Hagemore, along with many friends.
