Manning, Theron Wesley “Wess”
Theron Wesley Manning of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Monday at his residence in Tuscaloosa from natural causes. He was 44 years of age.
Funeral services will be held at Ward Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday September 21, 2014. Visitation starting at 2:00 pm with services following at 3:00 pm.
Wesley was born on February 4, 1970 in Opp, Alabama to Theron and Dorothy Manning.
Wesley was the youngest in a family of two children. He attended Enterprise High School and went on to join the Army where he served our country bravely for six years, during which time he became a veteran of Desert Storm. After completing his military duty he began a successful career in the construction trade where he worked on several notable projects such as the Florida State University expansion.
Wesley was a fun man to be around and was always quick to make those around him smile with his inexhaustible sense of humor and unique personality. He always held a great amount of passion for nature and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also found joy in listening and dancing to country and western music.
Wesley is survived by his parents Theron and Dorothy Manning and his sister Tammy (Theodore) Wertz. Niece Rebeccah Wilson and nephew Jeffrey Wilson and best friend Becky Carroll.
