Thomas “Tommy” Valor Hogan, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at his residence. He was 59.


Funeral services for Tommy will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 28, 2023 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverend Bob Sanders officiating and cremation to follow. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.


Tommy was born January 12, 1964 in Panama City, Florida to John Francis and Mary Nell Traweek Hogan. His father was in the Air Force and they settled in Dothan where Tommy grew up. He was a 1982 graduate of Northview High School and earned a Bachelors degree from Troy University Dothan. Tommy retired as an IT Technician from Dothan City Schools and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist church.


Tommy is preceded in death by his father, John Francis Hogan; nephew, Caleb Walker and stepfather, Gene Hanson.


Survivors include his mother, Mary Hanson-Hogan; his beloved furry friend, Katie Hogan; daughters, Danielle Hogan Williams (Brad), Payton Victoria White (Warren Hunter); grandchildren, Aiden Thomas Williams, Forrest Valor Davis and Greyson Cooper White; sister, Aneta Walker (Sami Q) and two nephews, John Flowers and Jacob Walker.
