OZARK… Mr. Tim Tomlin, a resident of the Pleasant Grove Community, near Ozark, died early Thursday morning, May 16, 2024, in the Ozark Health & Rehabilitation Facility. He was 68.


            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 20, 2024, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Cliff Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.


            Mr. Tomlin, son of the late Roy “Mack” Braxton Tomlin and Clara Cloree Carr Tomlin, was a native and lifelong resident of the Pleasant Grove Community, near Ozark. He retired from Golden Peanut Company as a supervisor and was engaged in farming. Mr. Tomlin was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Tate Tomlin and a grandson, Jacob Gibson.


            Surviving relatives include his daughter, Tonya Gullion (Ed), Enterprise; two sons, Sean Gibson (Nichole), Dothan, and Terry Gibson (Lynn), Freeport, Florida; a brother, Terry Tomlin (Wanda), Ozark; ten grandchildren, Jessica Parrish (Will), Lindsey Nelson, Josh Bishop (Erica), Jonathan Cramer (Ashley), Blake Gibson (Courtney), Mariana Gibson, Mariah Romo, Jacob Gibson, Abigail Roux, and Lansdon O’Mailia; several great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives.


            The family would like to thank Scott & Valerie Tomlin for their loving support and care to Mr. Tomlin and family during this time.
