OZARK…Mr. Tullis Wayne Rogers, a resident of Ozark, died early Monday morning, February 13, 2023, in the Oakview Manor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. He was 87.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 17, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James R. Devine officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Rogers, son of the late Oscar Rogers and Myrtle Treadaway Rogers, was a native and lifelong resident of Ozark. He was retired as a carpenter building houses. Mr. Rogers enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family. One of his best hobbies, was doing karaoke. He was preceded in death by his wives, Annie Bell Hartzog Rogers and Mona Kilpatrick Rogers; his siblings, Donnell, Lucille, Susie, Melissi, Inez, and Travis.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Kathy Langford (Dave), Ewell and Katherine Ayhens; a son, Allen Rogers (Britt), Cottonwood; four grandchildren, Samantha McClarty (Fitzgerald), Alexis Rogers, Kristin Beasock, and Tobias Ayhens; several nieces, nephews.
