Van Wilbur Wilson, Sr a resident of Webb, Alabama died Monday, January 1, 2024 at Flowers Hospital. He was 79.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Born to the late Sanford and Ossie Brown Wilson on February 8, 1944, in Bascom, Florida. Van always made a living for himself, owning and operating a produce business in his early adult life before owning and operating Van’s Package Store for twenty years. When not at work you could always find Van tinkering under the hood of an automobile. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Van was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George Wilson.

Left to cherish his memories are three sons, Johnny Wilson (Angel), Van Wilson Jr (Simone), and Ashley Wilson (Kathy); two daughters, Linda Rachelle Marshall and April Lea Wilson; a sister, Shirley Moulton; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
