William Compton Robbins, a resident of Dothan, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at his residence. He was 63.


Mr. Robbins will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.


Mr. Robbins was born September 12, 1950 in Champagne, Illinois. He was retired from the United States Army and spent two tours in Vietnam. Mr. Robbins loved Harley Davidson motorcycles whether he was riding one or fixing one.


Survivors include two sisters, Sara Bryant, Valdese, NC, Jean Robbins, Belmont, NC; three brothers, Danny (Linda) Compton, Pocahontas, AR, Jerry (Jamie) Robbins, Conover, NC, Everett Robbins, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; biological father, William L. Compton, Heber Springs, AR and his best friend, Don Matthews, Ozark, AL.
