Obituary: Mr. William Earl Palmore

Mr. William Earl Palmore of Opp passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at SAMC. He was 73.  


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Norris officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing. 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time. 


Mr. Palmore was born September 8, 1942 in Geneva County to the late Ervin and Callie Yeomans Palmore.  Earl loved to fish, work on cars and work in his yard. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed. 


In addition to his parents sister, Pearl Wills and brother, Huey Palmore preceded him in death. 


Survivors include, his daughter, Angie Marsh; his son, Chris Palmore; two grandchildren: Samantha Kay Thomley and Jessica Nicole Revels; three great-grandchildren: Kayla Nicole Revels, Amelia Kay Thomley and Rylan Christopher Revels; sister, Mary Mauldin (J.M.) brother, Freddie Palmore (Dorothy); several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
