   Mrs. Agnes Moore Johnson, a resident of Skipperville, died early Friday morning, March 31, 2023. She was 71 years old.


   Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 3, 2023, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Harold Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.


   The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Monday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.


  Mrs. Johnson was born December 28, 1951 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Ross L. Moore and Bessie Lou Mallory Moore. She grew up as a life-long member of Ewell Bible Baptist Church. Agnes graduated from Carroll High School in 1970. She married her husband, Don Johnson on March 24, 1979, celebrating 44 years last Friday. Agnes loved her daughters and cared for Cathy her entire life.


   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jilda Ann Thrasher (Bill); six brothers, Tommy Ross, Bobby Wayne (Virginia), Sammy Dwight (Annette); two infant brothers lost at birth and 3-month-old brother, Jack.


   Survivors include her husband, Don; daughters, Stephanie Barnett (Byron) and Cathy Johnson; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Serving as pallbearers will be Don McCall, Earl Ward, Trae Johnson, Stanley Snell, Walker Johnson and Jessie Gore.


   Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church Trust Fund C/O Mr. Don McCall, 3429 East County Road 19, Ariton, Alabama 36311.
