Mrs. Alice Christine Goodwin of Taylor, Alabama passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015.  She was 94.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. (EST) Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Ocoee Cemetery in Ocoee, Florida with Rev. Eric McCrea officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva, AL directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Geneva, AL, Thursday, October 22, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Mrs. Goodwin was born September 5, 1921, in Decatur, Alabama to the late James Allen and Rosie Viola Tingle Stricklin.  She loved to crochet and reading her Bible every day.  She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Eddie Charles Goodwin, a son-in-law, Hollis Powell, six brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Randall (Laura) Goodwin of Gotha, FL; three daughters: Joyce (Johnny) Flanigan of Dothan, Doris Powell of Coffee Springs and Alice Goodwin of Taylor; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
