Obituary: Alma Lois Caylor

 

Mrs. Alma Lois Caylor of Enterprise passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at Medical Center Enterprise. She was 92.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Duhaime and Reverend Terry McCrummen officiating, and Patricia Moore reading the eulogy that Lois had written.   Burial will follow in the Eden Baptist Church Cemetery in Geneva with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Monday beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Caylor was born July 20, 1923 in Coffee County to the late Drew William and Eula Whatley Cheshire.  She was a member at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Enterprise and retired from the retail industry after many years of service with B.C. Moores. In addition to her parents, her husbands, Henry B. Caylor and Clifford Jones preceded her in death.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 500 Alberta Street, Enterprise, AL 36330 or to the Eden Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1207 West Pine Avenue, Geneva, AL 36340.

Survivors include one son, Clifford “Bill” Jones (Brenda), Geneva, AL, one daughter, DiAnne Beard, Vestavia Hills, AL; two grandchildren, William Jones, Stephen Jones (Angel); five great-grandchildren, Dalton Cole Jones, Kaylee Elizabeth Jones, Matthew Seth Jones, Harley Summer Jones, Jacob Dawson Jones.
