Mrs. Anne Loyce Love Parker, age 85, a resident of Cottonwood, died Wednesday July 12, 2017 at Extendicare Health & Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday July 17, 2017 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Coley M. Holloway and Reverend John Smith officiating and Kendall Glover directing. Burial will follow at the Cowarts Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 12:45 p.m. Monday prior to the services at Glover Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave, Dothan, AL 36303.

Mrs. Parker was born October 22, 1931 a daughter of the late Mr. Y. J. and Donis Ham Miller. She worked as a seamstress prior to her retirement and is a member of First Baptist Church of Cottonwood.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Robert Parker; a daughter, Donna Holliday and a brother, Bobby Love.

Surviving are four sons; T.J. (Labranda) Jones, Cottonwood, Justin Blake Holliday, Cottonwood, Thomas (Rhonda) Jackson Jones, Jr. Cottonwood, Bobby Gene Jones, Webb; daughter, Dianne (Ronnie) Bostwick, Cottonwood; eight grandchildren including one special granddaughter and caregiver Michelle Morgan; nine great-grandchildren and two special friends, Wayne and Beckie Shackelford.
