Obituary: Arvie Dee Walker

 

Mrs. Arvie Dee Walker of Enterprise went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday morning, November 19, 2016. She was 94.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, November 21, 2016 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 1:00pm and continuing until service time.

 

Mrs. Walker was born September 24, 1922 in Coffee County to the late Josephus and Augusta Bryant Richards. Her late husband of 36 years, James Walker as well as a grandson, David Grillo preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include 4 daughters: Patty Grillo (Jerry), North Carolina, Patricia McInnis (Donnie), Enterprise, AL, Berita Hoy and Tammy Walker both of Ozark, AL; 2 sons: Jimmy Walker (Shirley), Enterprise, AL and Terry Walker (Sylvia), Dothan, AL; 1 sister, Nadine Hall, Atlanta, GA; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
