OZARK…Mrs. Becky Litton Folmar, a resident of Ozark, died late Friday morning, June 23, 2023, in Baptist South Hospital, Montgomery. She was 79.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 10, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Aubrey Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Folmar, daughter of the late Raleigh Litton and Minnie Lee Price Litton, was a native of Longshot, Mississippi. She moved at an early age to Greenville, Mississippi where she lived until moving to Ozark in 1981. Mrs. Folmar enjoyed working in her flower garden, cooking, and her beloved pets. She was currently employed as the Pro Shop Manager at the Country Club of Ozark and Panther Creek Golf Course. Mrs. Folmar was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Rose Seymore and Betty Ruth Mitchell; a brother, Raleigh Litton, Jr.
Surviving relatives include her husband, David M. Folmar, Ozark; two daughters, Terri Scribner (Danny), Eupora, Mississippi and Traci Evans (Andy), Greenville, Mississippi; a son, Mark Crose (Charlotte), Greenville, Mississippi; her sister, Nan O’Donnell (John), Globe, Arizona; seven grandchildren, Christopher Scribner (Christy), Leah Mitchell (Glenn), Anna Evans, Danielle Evans, Jessica Crose, Allen Crose, and Gage Evans; six great-grandchildren, Hunter Scribner, Liam Rogers, Wyatt Evans, Raelynn Hankins, Fischer Scribner, Mack Mitchell, and Jack Mitchell; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
