Mrs. Bessie Anderson Sconyers of Coffee Springs, AL passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012.  She was 74.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Royce Morrow officiating.

Mrs. Sconyers was born in Coffee County, AL on April 3, 1938 to the late John Anderson and Mary Virgil Boyd Anderson.  She worked for many years at Philips Van Heusen.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Lee Sconyers; and seven siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Powell (Danny) of Coffee Springs; two sons, Wendell Sconyers and Rodger Sconyers, all of Coffee Springs; two grandchildren, Brian Davis and Andrew Langford, both of Geneva; three sisters, Hortense Minshew of Enterprise, Betty Sikes of Jacksonville, FL and Virginia Davis of Anchorage, AK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
