OZARK…Mrs. Carolyn Johnson Shelton, a resident of Ozark, passed Monday evening, June 6, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. She was 55.
Homegoing services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 10, 2022, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Billy Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Carolyn was born October 6, 1966, in Enterprise, Alabama to John O. Matthews and Nellie R. Johnson. She was a 1984 Graduate of Carroll High School. Carolyn was formerly employed with Van Heusen in Ozark for eighteen years and a dedicated associate of Wal Mart in Ozark for fifteen years. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church.
Leaving to cherish her memory is her husband, Gregory Partlow; her children, Christopher Dickerson, Tamario Dickerson, Jeremy Dickerson (Rosa), Yvette Dickerson, Sukiko Shelton, and Shakia Johnson; grandchildren, Ke’Vontae Dickerson, Jamarius McCormick, Nazareeia Johnson, Christopher Dickerson, Ja’Kaylin Dickerson, Jamyius Sanders, Travion Sanders, Daelyn Johnson, Krislynn Dickerson, Callia Reynolds, Kamari Dickerson, and Kyrie Dickerson; sisters, Sabrina Whitehead (Sanche), Arlisha Johnson, and Laura Matthews; brothers, John P. Matthews, Elliot Matthews; nephews, Jarrel Whitehead and Jarvon Whitehead; a host of family members and friends.
