Ann Claudette Jackson, a resident of Enterprise, Alabama died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at her residence. She was 77.


 


Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, July 22, 2017 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with her son, Reverend Matt Gingery officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Jackson was born March 14, 1940 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to the late Claude William and Annis Dorothy Brandt Lucas. She was a military wife and eventually moved to Ft. Rucker area where she lived the remainder of her life. Mrs. Jackson was the Executive Director of the Daleville Chamber of Commerce and loved spending time with her children and spoiling her grandchildren.


 


Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Melvin L. Gingery and a son, Timothy Gingery.


 


Survivors include her husband, LTC (Retired) George F. Jackson, Jr.; daughters, Laury Gingery, Adele L. Jones, Jane C. Watson, Joannie Francis, Mary Anne Mohr, C. Jennifer Jackson, and Julie Harrison; sons, Mark Gingery, Matt Gingery, Henry Charles Jackson, Thomas G. Jackson, Christopher A. Jackson; grandchildren, Derek Gingery, Devon Gingery, Abe Gingery, Adam Gingery, Rowan Gingery, Jordan Francis, Tommy Francis, Bryan Francis, Geoffrey Jackson, Kevin Jackson, Kate Jones, Michael Mohr, Hannah Mohr, Haley Mohr, Jessica Jackson, Timmy Nelson, and Sydney Jackson; great grandchildren, Alexis, John Luke, John, and Kenzie.
