OZARK…Mrs. Connie D. Rheam, a resident of Ozark, died early Wednesday afternoon, December 6, 2023, at her home. She was 74.


            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Del Leeds officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Mrs. Rheam, daughter of the late Jack Sedaka and Theora Fisher, was a native of San Pedro, California. She lived in various locations in the United States while her husband served in the United States Army before moving to Ozark in 1991. Mrs. Rheam was retired from the Commissary at Fort Rucker (now Fort Novosel). She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Rheam (1st Sergeant, United States Army, Retired); two brothers, Mike Gillum and Lonnie Gillum.


            Surviving relatives include her two sons, Lucas Rheam, Ozark and Jed Rheam-Keaton (Matt), Panama City Beach, Florida; a sister, Debbie Fields (Scott), Ramona, California; two brothers, Larry Gillum, Alpine, California and Zane Gillum, Idaho; a grandson, Colby Tyler Rheam; several cousins, including Fonda Fisher.
