ECHO COMMUNITY…Debra Lynn Lambert Crawford, a resident of the Echo Community, died late Monday evening, October 16, 2023, in an Ozark nursing home. She was 66.


            In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Mrs. Crawford, daughter of the late James Wayne Lambert and Merilyn Quevreaux Lambert, was a native of the Zion Chapel Community of Coffee County and moved to Echo forty- two years ago. She worked as a Veterinarian Tech for many years and enjoyed taking care of her animals, especially her horses. Mrs. Crawford enjoyed being outdoors and working in her yards. She was married to the love of her life for fifty-two years, Luther Quinton Crawford, Jr. Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her sons, Quinton Wayne Crawford and Tristan Wayne Crawford; nieces, Candace Lambert and Megan Childree.


            Surviving relatives include her daughters, Samantha Hogan (Benjamin), Ozark and Loreal Christine Knowles (Kurt), Echo; two sisters, Tammy Childree (Wallace, Jr.), Skipperville; and Gwen Lambert, Skipperville; two brothers, Jimmy Lambert (Michelle), Ozark and Kieff Lambert (Jane), Zion Chapel; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
