OZARK…DeLana W. Villarreal, a resident of Ozark, passed away Wednesday evening, December 14, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. She was 49.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2022, in the Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Hill and Dr. Scott E. Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday in the sanctuary of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
The family will be accepting flowers.
Mrs. Villarreal, daughter of the late Joe Wade and Diane Bowman Hall, was a native of Ozark. She was a 1992 Graduate of Carroll High School and attended Wallace Community College. Mrs. Villarreal retired in 2011 from the Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union as a loan officer. She was an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Mrs. Villarreal was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Debby Dieter Villarreal.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Art Villarreal, Ozark; two daughters, Madalyn Noble and husband, Michael, Dothan and Britany Woodard, Ozark; three sons, Zachery Villarreal (TSgt., United States Air Force) and wife, Mia, Logan Villarreal, all of Crestview, Florida, and Carpenter Villarreal and wife, Brittney, Ozark; a step-brother, David Wade, Birmingham; three grandchildren, Maia Noble, Alaina and Riley Villarreal; father-in-law, Art Villarreal, Ozark; a brother-in-law, Andrew Villarreal (MSgt, United States Air Force) and wife, Katie, Misawa, Japan.
