Mrs. Dixie D. Lee of Geneva passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012.  She was 66.  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Geneva with Rev. Bill Kidwell officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church in the fellowship hall on Wednesday, October 03, 2012 beginning at 6:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Storybook Farm, 300 Cusseta Road, Opelika, AL 36801, HopeOnHorseback.org


 Mrs. Lee was born in Montgomery, AL on November 9, 1945 to the late George A. and Dixie Garrett Dozier.  She graduated from Lee High School in Montgomery and Auburn University.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George Dozier, Jr. and Joseph R. Dozier.


 She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Henry F. “Buddy” Lee, III of Geneva; daughter, Allison Lee Redd and husband, Gaines; grandsons, Jacob Weldon Redd, Ethan Fitzhugh Redd and Calvin Harris Redd, all of Atlanta; two sisters, Bertha Simmons and husband, Bill of Macon, GA and Ethel Boykin and husband, Raymond of Montgomery; brother, James Dozier and wife, Rheata of Montgomery; and numerous nieces and nephews.


 Serving as pallbearers will be Lewis Rueben Gayden, III, Robert Murray Bishop, Carter Augustus Brown, Stuart Hathaway Brown, Vance Bryant Langham, Anthony Barrett Sullivan and Derek Allen Warren.  George Mitchell Dozier is an honorary pallbearer.
