Donna Harrell, age 71, of Dothan, passed away on June 9, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on November 19, 1952, Donna's priorities in life were her faith and her family. An avid sports enthusiast, Donna's passion for the Atlanta Braves and Alabama football was infectious. She was a faithful member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Minnie Kate Bottoms and her husband of 45 years, Mack Harrell.
She is survived by her sons, Matthew Harrell (Erin) and Brad Harrell; her grandchildren, Owen, Luke, Hannah, and Emily; her siblings, Debra Yates (Frank) and Andrew Bottoms; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Chuck Locke officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
