Mrs. Dorothy Strickland of Midland City passed away Friday, September 25, 2015. She was 78.

 

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, September 28, 2015 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mrs. Strickland was born and raised in England. She worked for the English Ambassador in several countries and that where she met the love of her life, Ben Strickland. They moved to the states when he left Vietnam and that was when she proudly became an American Citizen. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents Andrew Hill and Jessee Binge Hill, husband Ben Strickland and twin sister Diana Langden.

 

Survivors include her daughter Belinda Strickland of Midland City; and sister Janet Gregory and her husband Harry of England.
