OZARK……Mrs. Elisabeth Sageder LeMonte, a resident of Ozark, died Tuesday morning, December 8, 2020 at her home. She was 92.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 12, 2020 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. LeMonte, daughter of the late Franz Sageder and Theresia Almann Sageder, was a native of Passau, Germany. She met and married the love of her life, Harry LeMonte, Jr. in Germany in 1946 and moved to the United States in 1955. Mrs. LeMonte became a naturalized citizen at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky in 1960. Following her husband’s retirement, they made their home in Ozark in October 1968. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-two years, Harry LeMonte, Jr. (CW4, U.S. Army, Retired), granddaughter, Connie Flater, three sisters and a brother.
Surviving relatives include her two daughters, Sandra Chon and Maria King; three sons, Robert LeMonte (Lucy), David LeMonte (Julie), all of Ozark and Harry LeMonte (Rachel), Michigan; two sisters, Edda Estes, Paris, KY and Marilie Reitehl, Passau, Germany; brother, Franz , Sageder, Passau, Germany; sister-in-law, Clara Clark, TX; fourteen grandchildren, Angela Gore, Erick Cedeno, Nathan Cedeno, Terry King, Tony King, Lisa King, Eric King, Robert LeMonte, Jr., Nichole Carter, Chris LeMonte, Aaron LeMonte, Priscilla Dorenkott, Shanna Hodges, Harry LeMonte, and Lisa Halter.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Terry King, Tony King, Robert LeMonte, Jr., Chris Lemonte, Nathan Cedeno, and Eric Cedeno.
