Eloise Palmer Scott, went home to be with her Lord on April 7, 2013 after an extended illness. Her son and his fiancée Rose were her caregivers and by her side at her home going.

Memorial services for Mrs. Scott will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 12, 2013 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Rev. Billy Rich officiating. Burial will follow at Dothan City Cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM prior to the service.

Mrs. Scott is preceded in death by her husband , Ted L. Scott five months ago after 66 years of marriage; her parents, George and Bernice Palmer and a sister, Elwin Gunnels.

Survivors include her four sons, Ted Roger Scott (Ada), Marianna, FL, George Gregory Scott, Tallahassee, Fl, Mark Stephen Scott (Rose), Chattahoochee, FL, Walter Vance Scott (Brandy), Panama City, FL; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren;  sisters, Nell Davis, Kinsey, Narrell Benefield, Westside Terrace, Betty Jeffries, Dothan, Joyce McCubbin (Ray), Dothan, Fanchion Crosby (David), Dothan; two brothers,  Rev. George Palmer, Jr. (Sara) and Warren Palmer (Marsha).
