Mrs. Eunice Mae Talsma, a resident of Dothan, died on Thursday, September 7, 2017. She was 87.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Rev. Clint McBroom officiating and Robert Byrd directing.

Mrs. Talsma was born on March 20, 1930 in Worthington, MN. She settled in Dothan in 1975 with her husband, an Air Force Veteran. She was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Talsma was preceded in death by her son, Robert Talsma who died as an infant, and Charles J. Talsma her beloved husband of 64 years, who died in 2010.

Survivors include her two daughters, Mary Jordin and Linda Gray of Dothan, AL; her two sons, James Talsma of Dothan, AL and David Talsma of Vass, NC; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
