 Mrs. Evelyn M. Brookins of Dothan passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the age of 85.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Brookins is survived by her daughter, Gloria Alday, son, Mitchell Brookins (Connie), granddaughters, Ashley Torres, Beth Vasquez, great-grandchildren, Victoria, Francisco Jr., Lidia, Christina Torres, Josiah, Alyzah, Carlos, Luka, sisters, Faye Bullard, Martha Golden, and brothers, Floyd McKenzie, and Dennis McKenzie.
