ARGUTA COMMUNITY…. Mrs. Grace Bell Dunn, a resident of the Arguta Community, near Ozark, died early Friday morning, February 21, 2020 in Dale Medical Center. She was 84.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 23, 2020 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with her grandson, Reverend Lee Windham and Reverend Kenneth Hale officiating. Burial with honors provided by the Dale County Sheriff’s Department will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dunn, daughter of the late William Bell and Annie Lou Howard Bell, was a native of Dale County. She was retired from the Dale County Sheriff’s Department as a Corrections Officer after over twenty years of employment. Mrs. Dunn was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Dunn; a daughter, Roxie Whitlock and three sisters, Helen Tucker, Lillian Hudson, and Joann Austin.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Danielle Dunn (Chris), Ozark and Vonn Windham (Len), Ariton; three sons, Jeff Dunn (Angie), Clint Dunn (Tamara), all of Ozark and Jason Ivey, Albany, GA; nine grandchildren, Krista Riley (Dwayne), Heather Messer (Kevin), Reverend Lee Windham (Lessie), Vicki Morrison (Paul), Ashley Dunn (Brooke), Chelsey Polumbo (Aaron), Kelsey Strickland (Tanner), Tyler Dunn (Ashley), and Cory Dunn; twenty great-grandchildren; very special friend, Micky Keahey.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Danny Dunn, David Dunn, Tony Dunn, Berry Dunn, Tyler Dunn, Cory Dunn, Mark Kiel, Dwayne Riley and Tristan McGuire.
