Mrs. Helen Louise Bradshaw Vise, a resident at Extendicare, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015. She was 85.


 


Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend David Anderson officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center, 110 Harmony Lane, Dothan, AL 36303.


 


After moving with her family to Dothan in 1963, Mrs. Vise was an active member of Highland Park Methodist Church and in 1988 became a member of Cloverdale Methodist Church. While raising her family, Mrs. Vise passionately spent time sitting with patients in need of care. For many years, Mrs. Vise enjoyed volunteering at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.


 


She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Louis Lee Vise, Jr.  her parents Bennie Travis Bradshaw and Jessie Pearl Shoemake Bradshaw, sister Catherine Wright and brother Burdett Bradshaw.


 


Survivors include daughters Vicki Vise Ellis of Roswell, GA; Ellen Vise Lee and her husband Paul Wesley of Dothan; sister Mary Grantham of Gulfport, MS; brother Henry Bradshaw and his wife Katie of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren Erin Lee Ellis, Cameron Lynn Ellis and Elizabeth Catherine Lee.
