Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL
“This establishment does not own a crematory.”
Mrs. Ingeborg W. Hulsey was born in Bad Kissingen Germany on June 15, 1929 to Apollonia Zeinz and Josef Meyer. She passed away September 30, 2018, in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 89.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark, Alabama, followed by interment in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Deacon Joseph Pattberg officiating. Friends and family will be received Friday at the funeral home in Ozark from 12:30 pm until service time.
Ingeborg lived as a child during the austere and chaotic times following World War I and then during World War II. It was after the war that she met the love of her life, Lloyd W. Hulsey. They were married in her home town on December 24, 1953. She then moved to the United States and became a naturalized citizen on March 25, 1958.
Anyone who knew Inge can attest to her love of family, friends, God, and all of His creatures. She worked hard to provide the best for her husband and children while taking time to ensure she had time for others. She was a caring and loving Mother, Daughter, Wife, and Friend who left an impression on all she met.
Inge is survived by her children Barney Hulsey and his wife Carmen, and Lloyd Hulsey and his wife Sandra; and her three grandsons Robert Hulsey and his wife Katie, Matthew Hulsey, and David Hulsey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lloyd Hulsey; her parents: Apollonia Zeinz and Josef Meyer, and her granddaughter Rebecca Hulsey.
