Mrs. Jean Farmer Stephenson of Dothan passed away Monday, March 26, 2012, at the Washington County Rehab and Nursing Home. She was 83.

 

Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Joe Johnson officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mrs. Stephenson was born May 13, 1928, in Dothan, AL; the daughter of the late B. G. Farmer, Jr. and Willie R. Ragland Farmer. She was a member of Evergreen Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Dothan High School and  attended Huntington College and  Mary Baldwin College. She was an avid Bridge Player.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, H.O. (Boots) Stephenson, and her brother, Byrd Farmer, III.

 

Survivors include her son, Charles Stephenson of Dothan; daughter, Lucie Walker of Ashford; grandson, Bo Walker of Ashford; and two nephews.
