Jeania J. Sanders entered into memorial rest on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 11:55pm in Northwest Florida Hospital in Chipley, Florida.

She was born in New London, Connecticut on December 18, 1929 to Joseph Albert Dias and Virginia June Gouveia. She was one of eight children. She lived most of her life in Florida and Alabama.

Jeania is survived by her daughter, Laurie Law of Slocomb, Alabama; grandson, Keith David Halle and family of Westin, Louisiana; two nieces, Virginia Champeau and Kaiolani Page both of California; and her cousin, Karen Capoza of Lime, Connecticut.

She was a loyal member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church in Slocomb, Alabama for over thirty years. She will be missed deeply by her friends and family.
