Jimmie Ann Bryant, a resident of Dothan, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at her residence. She was 78.
Memorial services for Mrs. Bryant will be held at 6:30 PM Thursday, April 17, 2014 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverend Rick Glenn officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:30 PM prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to: The Vaughn Blumberg Recreational Deaprtment.
Mrs. Bryant was born February 2, 1936 in Jackson County, Florida to the late Jim and Annie Laura Paulk Buntin. She was a 1954 of Cottonwood High School and later worked for Sony Magnetic Products and Stokes Floor Covering. Mrs. Bryant was a member of Memphis Baptist Church and loved listening to gospel music, reading and gardening. She loved her dogs Mollie and Little Bit.
Mrs. Bryant is preceded in death by her husband, Don Bryant.
Survivors include her two daughters, Fay Bryant and Kay Miller; grandchildren, Matthew Bryant and Anna Bryant; brothers, Charles Buntin (Helen), Bill Buntin (Sybil); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Dr. Roddy Cook and Kellie Anderson from 1st Med, Dr. Steve Stokes, Michelle and Kellie from Southern Care Hospice and Blake from Tri-State Medical.
