Mrs. Joanna Sims, 69, of Enterprise, AL, died on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at her residence.

Memorial services will be held 2 pm, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating and Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, (Children’s Choir Programs), 302 N. Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330

Mrs. Sims retired as an Escambia County Deputy in Pensacola, FL, where she served for many years.

Survivors include her sons, Joe Tindall (Debbie), Pensacola, FL, Justin Tindall (Elizabeth), Chesapeake, VA and Jason Tindall (Jenifer), Pensacola, FL; sister, Dixie Johnson (Tommy), Enterprise, AL; brother, Roy Sims (Virginia), Enterprise, AL; 5 grandchildren, Shaun, Ashton, Shane, Jackson and Jarrett Tindall.
