Joette McNiel, age 73, of Pansey, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 15, 1947 in Pansey to the late William S. Ingram and Ester Mae Bedsole, Joette was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending church, working in the nursery, and singing in the choir. She loved watching softball, whether it was her grandchildren, other family members, or just a local softball league. Joette was also an Auburn fan who enjoyed fishing and dove hunting. Most of all, Joette loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Joette was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dwayne McNiel; her daughter, JoAnn Mauldin; and her brothers, Sam Alan Ingram and William Ray Ingram.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula McMullin; her son, Tim Mauldin (Stori); her grandchildren, Michael McMullin (Sara), Angela McMullin, and Matthew Mauldin; her step-grandchildren, River and Legend Houck; her great-grandchildren, Wesley, Clayton, and Haven; her sisters, Barbara Ingram Nesbitt and Nyoka Ingram Smallwood; her brother, Eddie Ingram (Debra); her brothers-in-law, Ray McNiel (Linda) and Rex McNiel (Sherrie); the father of her children, Delma Mauldin; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Liberty Baptist Church in Pansey with Reverend Jeff Peacock officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM, Monday, December 21, 2020 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
