Mrs. Jolene Beaty Clark, a resident of Louisville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at SAAD’s Hospice- The Retreat in Mobile, Alabama. She was 96 years old.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Louisville Baptist Church in Louisville, Alabama with Rev. Robert Baker officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the Mt. Peasant Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted.

Jolene was born March 23, 1928, in Louisville, Alabama to the late Lamar Fred and Julia Munn Beaty. She was a home maker for many years and later went to college and became a nurse. Jolene enjoyed cooking, quilting, and was an avid Christian that deeply loved the Lord and was a lifelong member of Louisville Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Cecil R. Hovey and William C. Clark; son, Donald B. Hovey; two sisters, Erma Helms and Betty Fain.

Survivors include her two sons, Michael Ross Hovey of Daphne, Alabama and William “Bill” Olon Hovey (Ceil) of Louisville, Alabama; three grandchildren, Brandon Beaty Hovey, Rod Lane (Christina), and Sid Lane (Jayne), four great-grandchildren, Noah Lane, Micah Lane, Darby Blatt (Tanner), and Mickey Lane (Danielle).

Asked to serve as pallbearers are Jimmy Beaty, Tommy Beaty, Ronald Helms, Billy Wayne Clark, Glenn Phillips, and Charles Beaty.
