Judith Elaine “Judy” Womack, a resident of Dothan, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at her residence. She was 66.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 10 AM in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverend Jim Tate and Reverend Rick Glenn officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Womack was born October 30, 1945 to Henry Alfred and Gladys Wright Cherry. She was a lifelong resident of Houston County and was the church secretary at Memphis Baptist for 25 years where she was also a faithful member of the Bonded in Love Sunday School class.
Mrs. Womack is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Todd Garrett Womack.
Survivors include her husband, Shelby Womack, Dothan; two daughters, Dena Patterson and her husband, Clayton, Decatur, GA, Kelli Woodham and her husband, Christopher, Dothan; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Jenna and Avery Woodham; brother, Ricky Earl Cherry his wife, Vicky, Albany, GA and his daughter Jennifer Singletary; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
