OZARK…. Mrs. Judy Sanders Lawrence, a resident of Ozark, died early Sunday morning, December 13, 2020 at Dale Medical Center. She was 81.


            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 17, 2020 in Stonebridge Church of God with Pastor Floyd Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.


            Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Stonebridge Church of God, 689 Skipperville Road, Ozark, AL 36360.


            Mrs. Lawrence, daughter of the late Otis Sanders and Belvie Sullivant Sanders, was a native of Ozark. She formerly owned and operated Trophy World in Ozark for many years. Mrs. Lawrence was an active member of Stonebridge Church of God where she taught the Primary Kids Sunday School Class. She enjoyed the outdoors that included hunting and fishing and she enjoyed visiting the elderly and shut-ins. Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by a grandson, Travis Hazelwood; sister, Mary Fish and a brother, Ozen Sanders.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, Barry Lawrence, Ozark; her children, Sharon Orr, Ozark, Patti Hazelwood (John), Clarksville, TN, Becky Brown (Larry), Bunker Creek, FL, and Barry Lawrence, Jr. (Sarah), Dayton, WA; her siblings, Martha Loper (Al), Edward Sanders (Glenda), Ruby Ezell (Larry), all of Ozark and Linda Hopper (Jim), Salisbury, NC; grandchildren, Zack, Brandi, Daniel, Raymond, Xan, and Hunter; several great-grandchildren.
