Mrs. Judy Sullivan Maddox, a resident of New Brockton, Alabama, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at her home. She was 75 years old.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from the First Baptist Church of New Brockton with Reverend Stephen Pope and Reverend Nate Sims officiating. Interment will follow in New Brockton City Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
The family will receive friends Wednesday in the church from 12:30 P.M. until service time.
Mrs. Maddox was born November 23, 1947 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Grady Sullivan and Willie Lee Grantham Sullivan. She was a life-long resident of Coffee County and was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Brockton. She loved being with her family, working in the yard and growing day lilies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Kent Maddox; three brothers, Ray Sullivan, Jimmy Sullivan and Lomax Sullivan; and grand-pup, Ellie Mae. Survivors include one daughter, Pam Lowry (Tobi); one grandson, Logan Blake Harrison (Carolanne); three granddaughters, Maggie-Beth Harrison (Grayson Crowley), Destinee Badger (Josh), and Arielle Lowry; three great grandchildren, Kanan Udics, Winnie Mae Badger and Ripley Badger; her special friend, Chris Lowry; three sisters, Janice Holloway (Alan), Doris Nolin (Doug) and JoAnn Marler (Wendell); one brother, Mickey Sullivan (Barbara); sister-in-law, Peggy Roberts; and grand-pups, Willow, Drake, Preacher and Mattie. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
