Mrs. Julie Diane Hatcher, age 66, of Cottonwood, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023.

Born February 20, 1956 in Dothan to the late Samuel Farron Sunday and Mavis Josephine Smith Sunday, Julie enjoyed gardening and fishing. She was also an amazing cook with chicken and dumplings a family favorite. Julie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her daughter, Keri Estes Harris; her sister, Lisa Kay Sunday; and her brother, Samuel Farron Sunday, Jr.

Julie is survived by her husband, Larry O. Hatcher; her sons, Chris (Laney) Hatcher and Brad (Faith) Hatcher; her grandchildren, Dylan Hatcher, Farron Hatcher, Hunter Harris, Gabe Nelson, and Oliva Nelson; her sisters, Susan (Robert) Evans and Kathy Ham; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM, Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
