Obituary:  Mrs. June Cannon Moreno


 


Mrs. June Cannon Moreno of Cumming, GA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA.  She was 51. 


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Flowers officiating.  Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. 


June was born on May 24, 1961 in Griffin County, GA to Mattie Ruth Bagwell Cannon and the late Billy Cannon.  She was a Christian missionary dedicated to spreading the gospel. 


Survivors include her husband, Arnold Moreno of Cumming, GA; three daughters: Amy Blanton (Brian) of Cumming, GA, Stephanie Karpovich (Jason) of Columbia and Meghon Roque (Erico) of Dothan; three grandsons: Avery, Bralan and Cason; one granddaughter, Daniela; one sister, Cheryl Gleasure (Scott) of Lexington SC; two brothers: Greg and Gary Cannon both of Dothan; several nieces and nephew and other extended family and friends.
