Karla Patsy Hatcher, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 26, 2024, at her home. She was 45.

Funeral Services will be held at 3PM, Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Hodgesville Baptist Church with Reverend Ricky Campbell officiating, Interment will be immediately following the service in the church cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 2PM to 3PM.

Karla was born to Larry and Patsy Burk on January 7, 1979, here in Dothan, Alabama. She was a stay-at-home mom. Karla was very outgoing in everything she did. She never met a stranger and would go out of her way to help anyone. Her hobbies included horseback riding, long rides on dirt roads, and going to the beach. The joy of her life was raising her four boys and spending precious time with her grandbabies. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Karla will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Burk.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Hatcher; her parents, four sons, Billy Hatcher, Marcus Hatcher (Blakely), Daniel Hatcher, and Clint Hatcher; a sister, Kim Burk Barker (Keith) four grandchildren, Rylen Hatcher, Brady Hatcher, Lucas Hatcher, and one on the way; her mother-in-law, Rhonda Hatcher; two sister-in laws, Sharon Hatcher and Amanda Hatcher; along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
